You better promise me I’ll be back in time...
Welcome to our official bonus round one. Bonus Round 0 is now officially closed! Don’t worry, though – BR0.5 is open for one more week alongside this round. This time, the theme is historical settings.
If you have an idea for something you’d like to see, please leave a time period, the characters involved and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else’s prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in – if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we’ll be able to tell.
You should place PROMPT/FILL, your current team affiliation and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post.
You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first five prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.
You can post prompts or fills for any ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.
Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.
Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds, and if you change teams, points earned will transfer with you until the end of the team shuffle period.
Edit: This round is now closed. You may still leave fills if you wish to, but no further points will be awarded.

Date: 2012-11-29 11:14 pm (UTC)"Bitch that hurt."
"Oh shut up. Look. Over there. Wee little Angelino."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Looking around, Meg's eyebrows shot up in surprise. Ruby was right. It was one of those pressed-shirt, clean cut, baby-faced richies from the other side of town. Loaded with cash and living in their gated community mansions, they were hardly ever seen on this side of town. Certainly not browsing the racks at a second hand store.
He stuck out like a new penny in his starched blue shirt and slacks, browsing the jacket aisle. He was just too clean and pretty, standing in a store full of grubby clothes. Meg was suddenly curious.
"What the hell is he doing here?"
"Who knows. I think we should mess with him."
"What? No. Look at him. He'd wet his pants."
"Wouldn't that be a sight?"
Butting into the conversation, Alastair grinned. He joined the two girls, leering. That clean young face, dark hair, the things he could do to a boy like that.
"Ew, Alastair you leave that poor kid alone. Sure it was stupid for him to show up in Demon territory but that doesn't mean we're going to let you at him just because he's your type."
"Why the hell not? It's not like any of the Angels would do the same for us. I think we should send him back where he come from with a story to tell, right Ali?"
"Shut up, the both of you. Poor kid doesn't even look old enough to know better."
Meg could tell she was quickly losing ground against her two trouble-making friends. There was only thing she could do. Go up to the Angel before they did and get him to leave.
"Hey. What's your name?"
"Oh, me? I'm Castiel."
"Castiel? What kind of name is Castiel."
Meg let out an exasperated sigh. She couldn't stop Ruby from following her over and butting in, but at least Alastair had stayed behind. Hopefully he had lost interest.
"Look, Castiel, what are you doing here?"
"What do you mean?"
"This is Demon territory."
"Are you... Demons?"
Poor kid actually seemed interested. He clearly didn't know who he was talking to. Before Meg could say anything else, Ruby butted in again.
"Yeah. We're Demons and we don't appreciate having little baby Angels flying around on our turf. So why don't you fly home to mommy and ask her to buy you some clothes, huh?"
Castiel paused, a frown on his face. Meg prayed that he would just leave. Ruby was known for using more than just words when she got worked up. If she hit an Angel...
"I can't. My mother is dead. Besides, I wouldn't know where else to find a jacket like this."
Castiel held up the leather jacket in his hands, showing it to the two shocked girls. Leave it to Ruby to always have a comeback in an awkward situation.
"A jacket like that? Who you trying to be? Dean Winchester?"
"Who?"
Meg could have laughed at the sudden change on Castiel's face, suddenly interested and attentive. He must have seen Dean somewhere. He was the only guy in town who constantly wore a stupid leather jacket like that.
"Dean Winchester. Never see the guy without his stupid jacket."
"You know him?"
"Kinda, sure. Why?"
"Oh... I... um..."
This time Meg did laugh. The poor guy was so flustered.
"Oh man, this is great. Dean Winchester has a secret admirer, and it's a fucking Angel. Christ. We've got to tell him."
"Oh shut up Ruby. Just because Castiel is buying a leather jacket... Castiel why are you buying that jacket? You're not seriously going to wear it?"
"Why not? It looked cool on Dean."
"Yeah but that's Dean. You've got nothing to wear with that. I mean look at you."
Meg gestured to Castiel's wrinkle-free shirt and pressed slacks. The guy was blushing furiously by this point and Meg almost felt sorry for him.
"Well... maybe I'll get it as a gift. Give it to Dean. He's always wearing the same one. Maybe he'd like another."
"Dude that is just creepy."
"Um, yeah Castiel I don't think that would go over so well. Besides, that jacket was his dad's. There is no way he's going to give that thing up."
"Oh..."
"Maybe you should just, you know, meet him first. Talk to him."
Meg was reaching for straws. This guy obviously had a thing for Dean, but had no clue what he was doing. She wanted to help him out but Dean was not exactly the easiest guy to get with. Well, unless you had a nice rack. Meg just hoped that Dean wouldn't push Castiel away right away. The kid was kind of cute after all.
"Look, Dean and his bother Sam hang out at the old movie theater all the time. You should go by some time, introduce yourself. Just... don't come dressed like that. Wear some jeans, an old t-shirt, whatever. Ask him about his jacket."
"Yeah? You think he'll talk to me?"
"Of course he will! He loves to talk about himself. Just don't start complaining when you can't get him to shut up."
Castiel grinned and put the jacket back. He reached out and shook Meg's hand, surprising her.
"Thanks."
And just like that, he was gone. Hurried out the door with a smile plastered on his face. Poor kid. All Meg could do now was pray, hoping that she hadn't just done something incredibly stupid by introducing an Angel to one of the most destructive members of the Demon gang.
"Well that was dumb."
Meg snapped out of it when Ruby spoke. She rolled her eyes for the other girl's benefit but Ruby had already moved onto a new topic and Meg was more than happy to go back to shopping for a new shirt, forgetting all about her strange encounter with the baby-faced Angel, Castiel.
