When Prince Dean steps on the throne after the passing of King John, he has to choose between staying in the good grace of his people and subjects, or risking the relative peace of the kingdom by allowing the practice of magic, long ago forbidden by his father. But how could it be a choice when he secretely knows his beloved brother is clearly more wizard material than knight, spending all his free time with Lucifer, resident physician and former wizard ? (ultra bonus metaphorical points if Lucifer saved Sam from hiw own magic when he was young and unexperimented because forbidden magic)
