Talk to me, talk to me, like lovers do...

Bonus Round 2 is now open! This time, the theme is speech only. Entries should consist entirely of speech, although this can include script format.

If you have an idea for something you’d like to see, please leave a situation, the characters involved and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else’s prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in – if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we’ll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your team name and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Please note that NSFW includes any level of sexual content.

You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first two prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

You can post prompts or fills for any ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.

Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds. Please note that only two prompts will receive points this round, although you can leave more if you wish to.

“Oh, Castiel. Our precious Castiel. The strength is melting from your bones, and your skin is so pale and thin. Your Grace is slick and blackened now; your essence so corrupt… You mustn’t fight us. You might break.”

“I’ll warn you for the last time. Leave.”

“But angel, our time together is only just beginning! You fight and fight and fight all day – so very tedious, our Castiel, when we leave him to his own devices. Scrabbling at his cage walls.”

“With good reason.”

“So very, very tedious. Tell us, Castiel, why do you fight?”

“For the sake of the world.”

“But this world is our Father’s creation! And He bestowed upon it a certain kind of balance. You’re sweet, Castiel, so very sweet, to believe that His youngest children were born to rule.”

“Not to rule. To protect, to live – to make choices, and create.”

“To die. Only, you would have us spare them. All those tasty little morsels…”

“Yes. Leave them. Please, I beg you.”

“From warning to begging! Are you scared of us, Castiel? Why? From the moment we slipped inside your chest and wrapped our tendrils around your heart, we could see that you were special. So much sorrow, and thwarted ambition. Your Grace drips with melancholy, angel. So very beautiful.”

“Then don’t destroy it. Leave me. Live deep in the seas, if you must, where no one will ever find you. Please.”

“No, Castiel, we couldn’t possibly. We’d be all alone in the dark, and nobody likes that. Angels don’t like that, do they? Lucifer didn’t like that; you didn’t. We’re so similar to you, our precious vessel. Our Father never loved any of us, did He?”

“He cast you out – you only knew how to maim and kill.”

“And that’s the heart of it! To be all alone in the dark and the damp in the depths of your own vessel hurts you… but you must understand that it hurts us, too. We don’t like to hear our angel beg. We thought you might put up a better fight!”

“Because we’re similar?”

“If you like!”

“You’re right. Defective as you may be, you are also my Father’s children. And so, I am going to beg for my release. Please, hear me. End this. Leave. Please.”

“Oh, but Castiel, we are older than time itself. And mercy is so very, very new.”

“I never asked for you to act on mercy.”

“Castiel?”

“I said that you were my Father’s children. Because of that, I wished to offer you guidance. Others, far stronger, far wiser, have done greater things than you. Painfully, cruelly, inevitably they fell. I begged you to leave- and you didn’t.

“Let it not be said that the angel Castiel never warned you of the mercilessness of Sam and Dean Winchester.”

Oh god yes.

I put that I was on the wrong team - sorry! I'm on Lucifer/Gabriel. Hope I didn't cause too much hassle. I hear there's spreadsheets gone into this.

Oh my goodness, I loved this; there's an almost poetic flow to your dialogue. ♥

Thank you so much! I have a love of iambic meter that borders on the fetishistic, but my go-to POV character is Gabriel, so I rarely get to indulge. I was worried it might come out plain clumsy instead of... y'know. Readable.
