Bonus Round 2

Bonus Round 2 is now open! This time, the theme is speech only. Entries should consist entirely of speech, although this can include script format.

If you have an idea for something you’d like to see, please leave a situation, the characters involved and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else’s prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in – if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we’ll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your team name and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Please note that NSFW includes any level of sexual content.

You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first two prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

You can post prompts or fills for any ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.

Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds. Please note that only two prompts will receive points this round, although you can leave more if you wish to.

Sam: “Augh! Dammit!”

Ruby: “Come on, Sam! You can do this!”

Demon: “No he can’t. He’s weak, pathetic.”

Sam: “You shut the fuck up.”

Ruby: “Don’t worry about it, Sam. Focus.”

Demon: “Your brother told me to tell you he says hi.”

Sam: “You son of a bitch!”

Demon: “Ooh. That tickles. Do it again, kid.”

Ruby: “You’ve got him, Sam. Come on!”

Demon: “Disobedient whore. Aaah! You- Just wait until Lilith gets her hands on you!”

Ruby: “Sam, no! Sam- shit.”

Sam: “Did you hear what he said about you?”

Ruby: “Yeah. He was provoking you, and it worked. Congratulations.”

Sam: “He called you a whore.”

Ruby: “And now that’s one more person you’re not going to be able to save. You can’t just get angry and stab them. We’re past that point now.”

Sam: “What if I’m not? What if I can’t?”

Ruby: “Of course you can. You’ve made so much progress already.”

Sam: “I need a drink.”

Ruby: “Oh no you don’t. That was the deal, Sam. I help you, and you stay sober.”

Sam: “Ruby, please.”

Ruby: “No. You can’t expect to defeat Lilith if all you ever do is give up.”

Sam: “Explain to me again why I can’t use the knife.”

Ruby: “You saw what happened the last time you tried that. No, I’m sorry, but this is the way to do it. Now come on, we’re going to find another demon, and this time you’re going to get it right.”

Sam: “You go, I’ll wait here.”

Ruby: “Okay, sure. Just give me the bottle and the knife, and I’ll be on my way.”

Sam: "..."

Ruby: “That’s what I thought. What is it with you, Sam? You don’t get into Stanford by giving up easy. What’s going on?”

Sam: “ That demon, he mentioned Dean. I just. I miss him, Ruby. Every damn day.”

Ruby: “I know you do.”

Sam: “This would be so much easier if he was here. I can’t do this alone.”

Ruby: “...You’re not alone.”

Sam: “That’s not what I- I’m sorry.”

Ruby: “You know what he’d tell you? He’d tell you you’re doing the best you can. You’re still trying to do what you two started. Lilith is breaking seals, and she has to be stopped. This is the only way.”

Sam: “Heh. He’d tell me my best isn’t good enough. I’m not getting the job done.”

Ruby: “Then let’s get it done. We’ll go find another one of Lilith’s flunkies, and this time you’ll do it.”

Sam: “How can you be so sure?”

Ruby: “I don’t have anyone, either, Sam. I gotta believe in something, and it’s you. You have a gift, and that gift is going to let you kill Lilith and end this.”

Sam: “Thanks, Ruby.”

Ruby: “Don’t mention it. Now come on. We got work to do.”
