Bonus Round 2

Talk to me, talk to me, like lovers do...

Bonus Round 2 is now open! This time, the theme is speech only. Entries should consist entirely of speech, although this can include script format.

If you have an idea for something you’d like to see, please leave a situation, the characters involved and any other details as a PROMPT below. Then read through everyone else’s prompts, and leave a FILL for any which catch your eye. Fills can be in any media, and they need not be long, but please put a little effort in – if anyone starts spamming this post for points, we’ll be able to tell.

You should place PROMPT/FILL, your team name and a brief summary in the comment title. NSFW prompts and fills should mention this in the summary or at the top of the post. Please note that NSFW includes any level of sexual content.

You will be awarded five points per prompt for the first two prompts you leave. The first three fills posted for each prompt will receive 15 points, the next three 10 points, and the next three 5 points. Prompts with ten or more fills will no longer receive fill points.

You can post prompts or fills for any ship this round, including gen/platonic ones (which should be indicated with an & as above). However, you may not fill your own prompt. We also encourage people not to fill prompts from their teammates, although the points will not be deducted if you do.

Bonus round fills can include links provided they are publicly viewable. Works can also be cross-posted to other websites, as there is no anonymity requirement in bonus rounds. However, works posted directly to comments will be limited to 16,000 characters by the Dreamwidth comment limit. Longer works should therefore be divided between multiple comments.

Remember, Team Chuck can participate in bonus rounds. Please note that only two prompts will receive points this round, although you can leave more if you wish to.

Edit: This round is now closed. No further points will be awarded.

A/N: This turned ship-if-you-squint, I'm sorry ^^; what a lovely prompt though <3
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please. I know you’re there. I can hear you. Laughing.

(Is that...?)

(Yes.)

(Didn’t Daddy teach him not to crash parties he wasn’t invited to?)

(Since when have any of Father’s children done as He asked?)

(Why are we sent to our dark room while little birds can sing of free will? Now we’re out I want a party.)

(This is the party.)

(But he’s here.)

(Well he can’t be a guest. But a party needs other things. Food. Games.)

Please.

(Games huh?)

(Enjoy yourself.)

What’s this now, a little bird? Poor little bird with his wings clipped. That worm you were pecking for a little bit bigger than you imagined?

Why are you doing this?

Doing what, little bird?

Keeping me here. Making me... watch.

(Did you hear that?)

Where are you?

(He thinks we’re keeping him like a pet.)

Come back!

(Why shouldn’t we? It’s a pretty cage we have. Cramped, but-)

(No you’re not listening. Music’s playing but your dance is off-beat. Words sounding, no electric in your brain, listenlistenlistenlisten!)

(What am I listening to?)

(The angel wants to die.)

(Then convince him to.)

What do you want, angel? It was always about what you wanted, wasn’t it? We wanted a feast. A party. Daddy didn’t let us, but we’re out now. It’s always best to be late for your own party.

...

What do you WANT, angel?

I don’t want to see.

That’s not what you want that’s what you don’t. You don’t want to see but do you want to be blind?

I...

You want to be gone. You want to be dead.

No.

No, perhaps you want to be alive. More alive. Perhaps what you really want to see isn’t nothing... perhaps you want to see more.

No, please. No.

Perhaps you want to see every feather of every wing your hands have ripped. Every strand of every grace you’ve torn out. Every face of every sibling that lies at your feet.

You –

Us? Sometimes. Not always though. Some of them, they’re on you. Don’t pretend you had clean hands when you let us stream in to you. We wouldn’t have liked you otherwise.

Brother.

Isaac?

I’m surprised you remember me. I was almost an afterthought, the way you threw your blade into my chest.

I didn’t want to.

But you did, Castiel.

Rachel, I-

Right in the back, Cassie, I thought I meant more to you than that.

No. Not you.

Well you’re right there. How could it be me? You killed me.

(What was that?)

(A... laugh.)

Do you find the pain you’ve caused funny, little bird? Perhaps we’re more alike than you thought.

That’s not what’s funny. There’s nothing funny. Except you’re not Balthazar. You’re not my brother and you’re not my conscience. You’re the voice of the abominations my Father cast out of creation and you have just made your worst mistake.

Oh, little bird?

You’ve given me exactly what I needed. If there was one voice I had to hear, one person who could bring me back from the edge of letting go, forever... it’s him.

He’s dead because of you.

Yes. Yes he is. And to join him without first paying penance, well. That would be insulting. If I ever see him again I want to be able to look him in the eye and the first thing I’ll say is...

...what will you say, little bird? That you’re sorry you drove a blade through his ribcage?

Yes. And that I fought the monsters from the inside out. And that I won.

You want to die? We’ll kill you. We’ll kill you right now. Break your wings and crumble your faith and drink your grace like wine.

You won’t. You can’t.

You’ll wish we could, angel, when you watch all we have planned for your home.

I’ll fight.

We’ll destroy you.

I’ll take you with me.

We’ll burn you out like the infection you are.

I’m not going anywhere.

We’ll make you claw at your flesh until your grace leaks out in blood.

And all the while you’ll be giving me exactly what I want. Endurance for my sins. A death more honourable than I deserve. Every chance to drag you alongside.

You can’t possibly. You’re a creature without hope.

You’re right. But I’m a creature with faith.

Lucifer: “We’re brothers. Why don’t we just… walk off the chessboard?”

Michael: “I’m sorry. I-I can’t do that… I’m a good son, and I have my orders.”

Lucifer: “But you don’t have to follow them.”

Michael: “What? You think I’m gonna rebel? Now? I’m not like you.”

Lucifer: “Please Michael—“

Gabriel: “Well, I gotta say, this is not how I saw this little show going down.”

Lucifer: “You…”

Michael: “You’re not a part of this. You shouldn’t be here.”

Gabriel: “Aw, come on. I’ve missed this. It’s just like old times, you two bitching and snarking at each other like—“

Michael: “Watch yourself, Gabriel. …I know you have always had difficulty with this, and I understand, brother, I do. I don’t have a choice in this.”

Lucifer: “Yes you do. Michael, Dad is gone. He left. He’s not here to force your hand. You’re the one making this choice.”

Gabriel: “…He’s got ya there, bro.”

Lucifer: “And trust me… you don’t want this.”

Gabriel: “…”

Lucifer: “Please.”

Michael: “I have orders… You rebelled, Lucifer. You fell. You have to die.”

Lucifer: “Do you really believe that?”

Michael: “…”

Lucifer: “…Do you really want that?”

Michael: “What I want is irrelevant. You took the choice out of my hands a long time ago.”

Gabriel: “It’s still a fair question.”

Michael: “Excuse you?”

Gabriel: “Hey, I’m just saying, if you’re about to shank a guy, at least be clear about why.”

Michael: “…Would it give you peace, Lucifer?”

Lucifer: “In some ways, yes.”

Michael: “Very well. No. I do not want to do this. I never wanted to. I have to.”

Lucifer: “No. You don’t.”

Gabriel: “C’mon, Michael. He doesn’t want to fight. You don’t want to fight. I really don’t want to fight. Isn’t that reason enough to—“

Michael: “ENOUGH! I won’t hear any more of this nonsense. There are rules. There is a plan. You are not a part of this, Gabriel. Go, now. I will not ask you again.”

Gabriel: “…No.”

Michael: “What did you just say?”

Gabriel: “I said no, Michael. None of us want this. I don’t want to lose either one of you, and I’m not going to stand by and watch you two slaughter each other for nothing.”

Michael: “It is not for nothing.”

Gabriel: “It might as well be!”

Michael: “…So what? You stand with Lucifer now?”

Lucifer: “No. Gabriel, you need to leave. This is between Michael and I.”

Gabriel: “Sorry, bro. I got pulled into this a long time ago.”

Lucifer: “Brother, please. Don’t.”

Gabriel: “Déjà vu, huh?”

Lucifer: “…”

Michael: “…Gabriel, you’re misguided. You’re not supposed to be—“

Gabriel: “Well, doesn’t that just prove my point?”

Michael: “What point?”

Gabriel: “The plan has obviously changed. You act like everything is unfolding according to destiny, but look how messed up it all is. You’re in the wrong vessel, and I ain’t even supposed to be here. What does that tell you?”

Michael: “I…”

Gabriel: “Dad’s not running the show anymore, Michael. We’re on our own. …Your call.”

Michael: “…”

Lucifer: “I-I can’t believe he left.”

Gabriel: “Yeah, well, guess I have a little experience in talking big brothers off murder ledges… with varying success.”

Lucifer: “What do you want me to say to that?”

Gabriel: “Sorry?”

Lucifer: “I am.”

Gabriel: “You know, I thought you’d be a little more, oh I don’t know, surprised to see me.”

Lucifer: “…”

Gabriel: “You knew all along, huh?”

Lucifer: “I had an inkling.”

Gabriel: “Oh…”

Lucifer: “I’m still sorry.”

Gabriel: “Yeah. Me too, Lucifer. Me too.”

Lucifer: “…”

Gabriel: “So what are you going to do now?”

Lucifer: “I don’t really know. I can’t go home.”

Gabriel: “Yeah. Me neither. Guess we’re stuck together then.”

Lucifer: “I… what?”

Gabriel: “Come along, Luci. We have a lot of catching up to do.”

Lucifer: “Don’t call me that, Gabriel.”

Gabriel: “Ha. Whatever you say, brother. Whatever you say.”

Jo is six, (Sam is eight, Dean is twelve,) and John has stopped by The Roadhouse to see Bill and Ellen. To avoid confusion you could just focus on one of the brother's relationship with her, though obviously double the Winchesters = double the love from me.

Fill: John/Mary (Team Balthazar/Castiel)

[personal profile] darcymarkanday 2012-12-04 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
“Hello, John.”
“Mary? Is it really you?”
“I’m not the one who’s changed, can you really not recognise your own wife old man?”
“Now I remember why I fell in love with you.”
“You took your time coming here.”
“I know. But the boys-”
“I know.”
“It’s not exactly the life either of us wanted for them, is it?”
“Don’t do that to yourself. Do you remember when I was pregnant with Sam? What did Dean say?”
“I can’t remember, I’ve got a weary mind.”
“He said ‘I can’t wait for my brother to come out, so I can protect and love him. I’ll teach him everything I know. I’ll be a great big brother, won’t I mommy?’”
“I remember now. You cried because of the hormones.”
“I cried because I realised I wanted nothing else for my two boys than for them to have each other. And they do. I don’t blame you for how you raised them. Don’t get me wrong, I was angry at first, but I realised I would have done the same.”
“How did you get so wise when you had so little time on Earth?”
“I’ve spent a long time watching you. It helped.”
“I can’t wait for the boys to meet you and fall in love with you too.”
“I can.”

“We need to talk, Crowley.”
“I assumed as much. May I take a seat?”
“You can stay right there. Now, about that ‘picture’-”
“I’m sorry, you’ll have to clarify: which picture?”
“You damn well know which picture!”
“Amuse me.”
“That picture of you kissing me.”
“Us, kissing, I believe it was reciprocated.”
“That picture. I would appreciate it if you didn’t show it to people who need to mind their own business. I got a phone call from an old friend who said you showed him it.”
“Oh? And did he appreciate my photography skills?”
“Not so much. Crowley most of my friends are from a different time and don’t appreciate being shown that”
“And why do you care, my simple hunter.”
“I just want you to stop showing it.”
“You know me too well by now, Bobby, I don’t do something for nothing.”
“What the hell do you want? It’s a simple request.”
“Another kiss?”
“Excuse me?”
“Oh, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed our previous encounter very much but that’s not why I’m asking. I want a kiss to signify you owe me.”
“I’m not dumb enough to fall for that.”
“I wonder what Rufus would say about this picture?”
“You play a dirty game, Crowley.”
“Exactly how you like it, darling. Now, I’m waiting?”

Well, I've never written God or Death before, and they're probably wildly OOC, and the theology is all over the place, but here you go!

--

“You know, if you keep drinking all those slushies you’re going to end up reaping yourself. Even Death can get diabetes, right? Man, how would that even work? How would you even reap yourself?”

“And if you keep drinking all that whiskey I’ll be able to reap you long before that happens.”

“I created alcohol just so I could have a coping mechanism. Being a god is hard.”

“So hard that it apparently necessitated your leave of absence for several millennia.”

“I was around. Doing stuff.”

“You were playing at being human.”

“They are my greatest creations.”

“Which you almost allowed to be destroyed a half dozen times over. The apocalypse, power-hungry angels, Leviathan.”

“I wasn’t the only one! What about that whole ‘making Dean Winchester take over my responsibilities for 24 hours’ deal?”

“Castiel.”

“That’s different.”

“Dean’s time in the role of death was to teach him a lesson. Castiel’s time as god was unnecessary and served to undermine the natural order of the world you’d established. Unless you’d always intended to release the Leviathans out of Purgatory.”

“God works in mysterious—“

“We’ve been… friends… for too long for that explanation to suffice.”

“My characters took over the plot?”

“An understatement. Your ‘plot’ has veered off course in recent years.”

“It’s not really jumping the shark if you never come back down.”

“You have spent too much time in the guise of a human.”

“Says the horseman of the apocalypse who gorges himself on chili cheese fries.”

“I can appreciate the pleasures that humans have concocted to fill their short lives.”

“And in that, you’re more like Dean Winchester than you think.”

“Hm.”

“You are a much less messy eater, though.”

“Joy, I have bested Dean Winchester at table manners. My existence is complete.”

“You’re fond of him; don’t deny it.”

“As are you. That doesn’t make him any less aggravating.”

“He’s human.”

“That’s what I said.”

“Another slurpee?”

“Blue raspberry this time. And a cheeseburger. It’s good to see you putting your infinite powers to use.”

“I made a lot of mistakes early on. Didn’t do things the way I should have. I was overconfident. I wasn’t going through the editing process, thinking my first efforts were flawless as soon as I slapped them out. I’m fixing that now.”

“The angels.”

“They’re learning. Slowly. Free will isn’t something they were ever designed for, but it should have been. I was young and arrogant and foolish. I shouldn’t have kept that from them. They need it, though, need to learn to live without me. They’re figuring out how to make their own decisions, rule their own lives.”

“And if they tear heaven and earth apart in the process?”

“It won’t come to that.”

“Won’t it? Gabriel, Michael, Lucifer, Raphael—your generals are gone. The angels that rose to take their place have Fallen or are failing. Give them free will, and they start a civil war.”

“They’ll figure it out. I have faith in them.”

“A god having faith in his creations. How novel. I suppose you have faith in humans as well.”

“If I didn’t I’d be drinking a lot more of this whiskey.”

“Hmph.”

“Aw, come on! It’s just…”

“They do make excellent hot dogs.”

“Well, yeah. But that’s not it. I created them. I’ve watched them from the day they arrived on the planet—“

“You’re quoting Lion King.”

“But the point still stands.”

“And now you’re channeling the Doctor.”

“Just… they’re mine. I’ve watched them grow. But I’m not going to be around forever. I’m not the first god you’ll reap and I won’t be the last. And you’ll be reaping them before and after you reap me, sure, but they’ll outlast me. The angels, the humans, all of them—they’ll be here long after I’m gone.

“And they’re going to have to survive without me. And at the same time I know they can do it, it scares me that they’ll have to. So I’ve been making trial runs. Giving the angels tough love. Kicking them out of the house and making them grow up. Maybe they weren’t ready, but at least this way I can still step in and fix it if things go balls-up.”

“You haven’t left them alone though. You’ve stepped in, disrupted the natural order.”

“Alright, so maybe it’s harder to talk about letting go than it is to actually do it. And sometimes they can just be so stupid.”

“We can agree on that at least.”

“Hey, don’t pretend that you’re completely innocent in all this either. Pulling a soul out of hell? That’s got ‘against the natural order of things’ written all over it.”

“Without your interference he never would have ended up there in the first place, at least not the way he did. And there’s nothing natural about a soulless human. Arguably I was restoring order.”

“Arguably. But that wasn’t your only reason for doing it.”

“I’m Death. By my very nature I’m something that can’t ever be truly understood. My Reapers aren’t just being catty when they won’t answer questions; even if they were to explain, humans just aren’t capable of understanding.”

“You don’t give them enough credit.”

“And you give them far too much.”

“What did you do on your vacation, huh? Eat and drink and be… as merry as Death gets? Yeah, you’re not gonna answer that, are you? Well, I didn’t. I spent time with humans, as a human. I know what they’re capable of, the good and the bad. I didn’t even know I was a god.”

“You still managed to throw yourself in the middle of things by making yourself a prophet.”

“I’m still getting this non-interference stuff down! And I had to have failsafe mechanisms in place and it wasn’t like it was a walk in the park I had to deal with editors and parking tickets and taxes and… but that’s not the point. The point is I know them, better than I ever did even when I made them. And they’re petty and horrible but they’re caring and wonderful too.”

“I suppose they have their moments.”

“Besides food trucks and greasy spoons?”

“Don’t push it.”

“Why have you called me here, Father?”

“You know what must be done, Michael.”

“…is this what it must come to?”

“You are the Sword. You know your duty.”

“Yes.”

“You know it must be done. He has left me with no other option.”

“…”

“Michael?”

“Yes, Father. I know what I must do.”

“You hoped he would repent.”

“…was I alone in that hope?’

“No. I find no joy in this punishment.”

“But it is what is just.”

“So you agree? Good. Bring him here. There is more.”

“More? What else is there, Father? Is this not sufficient?”

“Go. You will know soon enough.”

----

“I knew it would be you who came for me.”

“You know nothing, Lucifer.”

“Don’t pretend not to care, Michael. I know what Father has asked of you.”

“Not even I know the extent of Father’s plan.”

“…”

“Don’t look at me like that.”

“Like what, brother?”

“Like I am keeping something from you. I am not the liar here.”

“I never lied. I simply went against Father’s wishes. Those are different things.”

“How can you speak with such insolence? As though these crimes mean nothing to you?”

“Were my previous explanations not enough for you?”

“Enough. Father would speak with us.”

“Would he? Hm.”

“Stop it, Lucifer! You have done this to yourself. You asked for this. You decided disobedience was more important than- …than anything else!”

“Speak plainly, Michael. More important than you, you meant to say.”

“I would never put myself above Father.”

“Such a good little soldier, aren’t you? Fine, take me to him; I would hate to disappoint Father.”

----

“Hold your traitorous tongue, Morning Star.”

“A pre-emptive warning, Father? I didn’t say a word.”

“Nor will you. This courtesy is more than you deserve, I’ll not have it thrown in my face.”

“Condemning me to live amongst your new favourite children is a courtesy? I shudder to think what you would deem a disservice.”

“Hold your tongue, brother.”

“Enough, Michael. I have Lucifer well in hand.”

“…”

“This is the last time you will see your home, Lucifer, but not the last time you will see Michael.”

“Father…?”

“Be still, Michael, I do not mean you will be joining him.”

“What a relief for us both; you know how Michael abhors my presence.”

“Is there no end to your venom? Your brother is not to blame for the actions you chose; that is your cross to bear. As I was saying, you will see Michael again, but only after spending a few millennia imprisoned in the depths of Hell, surrounded by the twisted creatures you created out of spite.”

“…”

“I see that the depth of your treason is finally becoming clear.”

“Death would be kinder! All this for one human soul? For questioning the purpose of these ruinous new pets of yours?!”

“I SAID HOLD YOUR TONGUE, MORNING STAR. I HAVE NOT FINISHED YET.”

“…”

“I have a plan for the Earth and for my children who inhabit it. Eden will return to the humans and paradise will exist on Earth as it is in Heaven. But before that can happen, it must be purified. It will take a massive surge of divine power to cleanse the Earth and prepare it for paradise.”

“Father, no. You can’t mean…”

“I do, Michael. When the time comes, Lucifer’s death will cleanse the Earth and return Eden to its proper place. Hell will keep him and his Grace frozen until he is needed; then he will die for his betrayal by your sword. That is his true punishment. His life for the good of those he so hates.”

“How could you do this to me?! I was your favourite son and I loved you! Father please, this cannot be true, you cannot mean this!”

“Michael, take him. Cast him down and make sure the others see. They should know what fate awaits them should they choose to follow the Morning Star.”

“Michael, please. Don’t do this. If you ever loved me, you would not do this!”

“…Father…”

“Do as I say, or you will share your brother’s fate. This is your destiny as the Sword of Heaven, to punish the wicked. Lucifer is wicked.”

“…yes, Father.”

“Michael, no! Have mercy on me, big brother. Do you truly believe this is just? That I deserve such torment?”

“Do not beg, Lucifer. Face your fate. Mercy is not mine to give.”

“No- Let go of me, Michael, you don’t have to do this! Michael! Father!! MICHAEL!!!!”

“Perdi- What are you talking about? Who would want to save me? Take a good look around - I’m torturing people. On the rack. Doesn’t that mean anything to you? Why would you want to save me when all I’ve done is wrong.”

“You give yourself too little credit. Nonetheless, I heard you would be difficult. I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord.”

“The Lord? Wait, God? Why would God want to save me? Angels don’t even exist!”

“Your mother often said there were.”

“And she died! Where were the angels, then? Why didn’t they help her? Even if angels were real, they’ve never done anything to help us!”

“Do not presume we don’t care. If we were to save every human, there would be no peace. You humans would be become too dependant on us - we do not serve man. We serve Our Father.”

“What the Hell does that even mean- Hey! Hey! Hey! Let go of me!”

“I will bring you out of this hole and you will be returned to the surface.”

“Can’t we just talk about this first?”

“I was under the assumption that we were done.”

“No. We weren’t, you feathered bastard.”

“Were you not just vehemently denying my existence a mere moment ago?”

“When you’re in Hell long enough, you start to hear things about the angels and about Lucifer, you know?”

“Yes. I know.”

“.. Alright. So, you want to tell me why ‘God’ wants me out of the Pit?”

“We have work for you.”

“And what if I don’t want to work for you?”

“You don't have a choice in the matter. It’s destiny. You and your brother must stop the Apocalypse.”

“Wait - The Apocalypse? As in the Apocalypse? The one in the Bible?”

“Yes. That Apocalypse. You and your brother must stop Lucifer from rising. You must do whatever it takes to stop it.”

“Why me? Why do I have to do it.”

“The Righteous Man must be both the beginning and the end of it. You started this situation, so you must be the one to stop it.”

“I- I what?”

“When you said yes to Alistair, you broke the first of sixty-six seals.”

“...Shit.”

“I agree. Now, will you let me put your soul back into your body? My Garrison can only do so much to hold off the demons. We are still in enemy territory.”

“Wait. My body, it was torn to shreds by the Hellhounds! I mean, not that I like Hell or anything, but it seems pretty, well, pointless to put me back in a broken body. Man, that felt weird to say.”

“Do not worry. I’ve already taken the liberty of restoring it to their proper functions.”

“So, uh, what do I do when I get out? I mean, I have to find Sammy and tell Bobby, that much I know. But you’ll keep in touch, right?”

“I find your attachment endearing, but I doubt the angels will give you guidance. I will meet you on Earth later.”

“Really? Great - I can’t really see you right now, you’re, uh, incorporeal so-”

“The likeliness of you remembering this conversation is close to none. I wouldn’t bother asking too many questions.”

“Wait? I’m not going to remember this conversation? Then what’s the point of explaining it to me now? Why not just tell me later?”

“I didn’t want you to put up a fight when I took you away from here. The process is delicate - I wouldn’t want your soul to explode.”

“...Oh.”

“Dean, there have always been angels watching. There are times when we can do nothing to help, but we are watching.”

“...Gee, that makes me feel so much better.”

“I’m glad it does.”

“That was sarcasm. What, you don't have that up in your fluffy cloud world?”

“I’m afraid I don't quite understand.”

“Will you be there when I wake up, you know, alive?”

“No. I must find a vessel first.”

“You’re going to possess a poor bastard!?”

“Only a willing one. Calm yourself - we angels are considerably more thoughtful than demons are.”

“...Hey, Cas, right?”

“Castiel.”

“Yeah, Cas. I just... what are you risking by saving me?”

“My life.”

“So you’re going to give up your life for some poor bastard you don’t even know?”

“Is that not what you’ve been doing your whole life?”

“...”

“You are greater than you think. Dean Winchester, you may not be able to see it, but your soul shines brighter than some stars in the sky. You are more than you say you are. You are kind and protective - you do what you can. You try with all your might, but failure is not a doubt. There are times when you think it would be best to die. You are not meant for Hell - you have already earned your right to Heaven.”

“And Sammy?”

“What?”

“And Sammy too, right? He’s going to Heaven?”

“He is supposed to, but he’s headed down a dark path right now. You must put him back to the path he belongs to.”

“Sammy’s in trouble?”

“Of a sort. He’s taken to company that I would not recommend.”

“Then I guess we should stop wasting time here, huh? I guess it’s time to see the bright sun-ball of light again.”

“Indeed.”

This is great! Bittersweet, with the references to canon and Dean's self-perceived worthlessness. Thank you for writing!
